Job Description:
Visual Arts Instructor (E-learning) - The Visual Arts instructor shall develop curriculum according to currently recognized visual arts continuing education and professional development standards, which shall be created for students that will attend project demonstrations, classes, workshops, seminars, and conferences (such course content may or may not be eligible for Continuing Education Units or Professional Development Hours).
Instructor Qualifications:
The following qualifications list is presented in the order of preference:
Current teaching certification as a Visual Arts instructor.
A degree in Art, specialization in Art Education or Visual Arts preferred.
A college degree.
Recent verifiable experience teaching workshops, seminars, presenting in a conference setting, or classes, in Visual Arts or scrapbooking.
A desire to teach Visual Arts or scrapbooking, combined with a significant history of public speaking or teaching, preferably in a classroom setting.
The ability to self-produce workshops and classes for presentation on the internet.
